Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Assistant Nurse Manager to join an outpatient healthcare team. This leadership role is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations. In collaboration with the Nurse Manager, you will help oversee clinical activities, improve workflows, and foster a positive, team-oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the management and supervision of clinical nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care and adherence to protocols.
Be a role model and mentor, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
Assist with scheduling staff to ensure sufficient coverage for patient care.
Monitor and support the delivery of excellent patient care based on evidence-based practices.
Address and resolve patient concerns to ensure a positive patient experience.
Participate in performance improvement projects and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Work alongside the Nurse Manager to manage department budgets, supplies, and equipment.
Contribute to the implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices for optimized care delivery.
Assist with onboarding, training, and evaluating nursing staff.
Provide direct patient care when necessary, serving as a clinical resource for staff.
Ensure patient care documentation is accurate and in line with legal and institutional requirements.
Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY (unrestricted).
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, ideally in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Compensation Details: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $90k to $100k, and compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skills. Bonus eligibility (if applicable) will be discussed during the offer process.
