Job Description

* As a Web Designer at Abstrakt Marketing Group, you will have a direct effect on client growth and success through the creation of highly engaging, beautifully designed, functional websites and landing pages. Reporting to the Creative Director and working hand-in-hand with Copywriters, Editors, Digital Strategists, and Web Developers, you will play a critical role in the development of websites and landing pages, from initial kickoff to website launch. Working with a team of fun and supportive A-Players, you will be required to work on multiple websites and assignments at once, ensuring that client goals and deadlines are met. The goal of the Web Designer position is to drive leads through user-friendly, conversion-focused web design. The ideal Web Designer is an expert at juggling multiple projects at a time and has excellent organizational skills. He or she also possesses the creative ability to create unique designs for special client requests. In this position, your expertise will be highly valued, and you will have the opportunity to directly affect the success of both Abstrakt Marketing Group and our clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Execute and collaborate on design initiatives focused on moving Abstrakt’s website product to the next level. * Work effectively under deadlines, manage multiple projects with evolving requirements, and serve as a resource for all things related to web design. * Lead design phases of web projects, review and quality check site design prior to go-live. * and answer all questions related to design. * Work closely with digital team members on website projects to translate requirements into user-friendly, conversion focused web designs that are fully responsive, cross-browser compatible, and SEO optimized. * Drive thought leadership by collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate and present new ideas. * Perform CSS work on an as-needed basis. * Stay abreast of current web design trends through self-study and training. * Self-manage schedule, tasks, and track billable and non-billable time to ensure all website projects meet design quality specifications and remain at or under budget for each job. * Maintain professional rapport with all internal and external clients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field from a four-year college or university. * Solid portfolio of web, mobile, and/or other digital design work. * Skilled in WordPress, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. * Basic knowledge in HTML5 ,CSS3, CSS and JavaScript * Passion for creating experiences in online environments that support Abstrakt's external communication strategies and goals. * Detail-oriented and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment. * Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, use resources, identify and address problems, and meet deadlines. * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; a team player who is also a positive, innovative thinker. * Strong experience with interactive design, including overall concept/vision, layout, typography, and usability. * Strong understanding of quick- turn landing page projects * Must provide Portfolio
