Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Recruiter – Clinical Roles will focus on identifying and hiring top healthcare professionals for clinical positions within the organization. This role manages the entire recruitment process from sourcing to offer management while working closely with hiring managers to fulfill clinical staffing needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of recruiting experience, including 1 year focused on clinical/medical roles such as nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals. This position requires minimal travel, with most responsibilities conducted remotely or from our headquarters.

Essential Functions:  

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for clinical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements, craft job descriptions, and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified clinical candidates using a variety of sourcing channels (social media, job boards, professional networks, etc.).
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Participate in virtual career fairs, online recruitment events, and other digital networking opportunities to attract clinical talent.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate information and recruitment workflows efficiently.
  • Ensure all hiring activities comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and healthcare regulations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a clinical recruitment expert, advising hiring managers and team members on market trends and best practices for sourcing and hiring clinical professionals.
  • Monitor and report recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) for clinical positions.
  • Continuously refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency and the candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with HR and onboarding teams to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
  • Occasionally represent the company at local recruitment events or industry conferences (minimal travel required).
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested

 

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Healthcare Recruitment Expertise: Strong knowledge of clinical roles, licensure requirements, and healthcare industry hiring best practices.
  • Recruitment Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and hiring managers effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clinical professionals and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools; ability to quickly adapt to new technology.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, with at least 1 year dedicated to clinical/medical roles (nurses, physicians, allied health, etc.).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using ATS systems, online recruitment tools, and social media platforms for sourcing candidates.
  • Certifications: PHR, SHRM-CP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Other Requirements: Minimal travel is required for this role, with occasional participation in local recruitment events or conferences.

Environmental Conditions:

Works in an office setting. Moderate noise level.

Physical Requirements: Sitting is required. Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner.
