Growing together.** You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. **Primary Responsibilities:** + API Demonstrations & Document Walkthrough + Conduct live demonstrations, explaining how to integrate the API into their applications and addressing any questions + Create comprehensive API documentation, including a Swagger Walkthrough, which provides detailed information on endpoints, parameters, and responses + Regular Tech Connect with Key Consumers + Organize & conduct tech connect sessions, where engaging with consumers to discuss their experiences, challenges, and feedback related to the API + Understand consumer needs and address any technical issues or concerns + Share updates, new features, and best practices, ensuring that consumers are informed and equipped to maximize the benefits of the API + Non-Production Support while Consumer Onboarding + Assist consumers in setting up and configure their non-production environments, ensure that they have the necessary resources and documentation to effectively test and integrate the API + Support during the transition to the production environment, help consumers with any technical issues or challenges they may encounter + Production Support for existing consumers - Issues and Follow-ups + Attend to incidents/cases or queries brought forward by consumers, providing resolution through relevant information or a fix + Additionally, ensure to follow up with downstream applications to address any data issues You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma/GED (or higher) + 3+ years of experience in RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and API management platforms (e.g.Postman) + 3+ years of experience in programming languages commonly used for API development, such as Python, Java, or Node.js + 3+ years of experience with API security best practices and protocols **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field + Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., API management, cloud computing) + 2+ years in a senior or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior team members + Experience in API development, integration, or support + Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment + Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders + Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and resolving complex API-related issues. Proven commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support, with a focus on building long-term client relationships *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
