Satellite User Terminal Program Manager

Location: Bethesda, Maryland

Global broadband connectivity Using Global Satellites for users by delivering a combination of high capacity, security, resiliency and affordability with ultra-low latency and fiber-like speeds.

The Satellite User Terminal Program Manager will be r esponsible for working with outside vendors providing user satellite terminal solutions.

This position requires a strong Program Management experience with proven experience in the development of satellite user terminal technologies and installation of satellite user terminal products.

Main Responsibilities

• Satellite User Terminal Type Approvals.
• Manage vendor programs: scope: contract, work-breakdown, requirements, and budget.
• Manage User Terminal Programs including flat panel antennas.
• Work with the product, program, engineering and commercial teams.
• Vendor development.

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Emphasis in Satellite Communications.
• Previous SatCom, Satellite Phones and Vendor Integration a Plus.
• Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, etc.
• Knowledge of Modems, RF and Satellite Antenna technologies.
• Work with External Equipment Vendors a plus.
• PMP Certification is a plus

Supervision:

• Manage suppliers/contractors during supplier facing activities.

Location:

• This position will be based out of Bethesda, Maryland.
• Full-time office or hybrid 60/40 office/remote, subject to work.
• Occasional travel, including international travel.

Compensation:

Base: $125K to 150K - Based on experience
