Project Manager - Operations

In this role, you'll oversee the coordination and execution of project tasks, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Our company specializes in fabrication and installation of sheet metal ductwork for large-scale projects, including healthcare facilities, research labs, sports stadiums, hospitality, government, and educational institutions. What You'll Do
Support Project Coordination:
Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) and As-Built drawings.
Communicate with the field foreman at least three times a week to update project schedules.
Facilitate project kickoff meetings to ensure alignment between office and field teams.
Maintain and update project documents, including drawings, schedules, and tracking sheets.
Manage Project Deliverables & Documentation:
Prepare and send ductwork submittal drawings for approval.
Organize equipment take-offs and release all duct-related equipment with confirmation from VDC.
Keep track of duct leakage reports, vendor shipments, and field documentation.
Request schedule updates every 60 days and ensure they align with project timelines.
Monitor job site manpower, rental equipment, and ensure projects run efficiently.
Vendor & Cost Management:
Obtain vendor quotes for cost proposals, including standard and expedited pricing options.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and coordinate with vendors on missing/damaged materials.
Track and log foreman field documentation such as daily reports, wage scale forms, and delays.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
Work in Smartsheets to track project progress.
Assist staffing agencies with CIP project enrollment, safety requirements, and badging.
Support CAD/BIM coordination when needed.
