Job Description

Are you ready to advance your career in commercial construction? PROCON, New Hampshire’s leading design-build commercial construction firm, is expanding, and we want you to grow with us as our newest Project Accountant!

Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets by processing and accounting for all billing invoices for assigned projects.
• Maintain records of the General Contractor’s payment applications and invoices.
• Handle contract administrative tasks such as project folder setup, maintaining filing systems, data entry of purchase orders & change orders, and document scanning and faxing.
• Assist in project close-out procedures.
• Ensure compliance with annual master agreements, licenses, and insurance verifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in developing budgets and standard accounting practices.
• Ability to review contract documents.
• Strong relationship-building skills with General Contractors.
• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Effective communication abilities across all levels, including subcontractors, peers, Project Managers, and Vice Presidents.
• Proficient computer skills: familiarity with Timberline/Sage preferred.
