Payroll Supervisor

EngageCX is a virtual call center offering options for those dedicated to working from home since 2009.

We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to take ownership of the weekly payroll for over 300 contractors and employees. This excellent remote opportunity allows you to work from any of the 22 states we hire in the United States. You will work closely with the accounting and HR teams to ensure payroll excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accurate and timely organization and processing of US payroll for 300+ contractors and employees, ensuring that time and attendance for agents, leads and supervisors. are correctly processed.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot time and attendance documents and inputs from operations to insure correct payroll processing, resolving data and system issues, working with teams to quickly identify and resolve any challenges.
  • Strive for process improvement by recommending and implementing changes to operating documents and processes to streamline payroll and timekeeping.
  • Provide support and problem solving for weekly pay of employees and contractors , ensuring they understand their payroll information and resolve any inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of domestic payroll processing experience, with a strong understanding of payroll time keeping and processing.
  • Experience with Paychex Payroll software and knowledge of other payroll systems.
  • Strong Excel skills (intermediate level or above).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to work and lead effectively within a cross-functional operations team. Get your ideas across and accepted!
  • Timekeeping and Attendance to support payroll accuracy. Extensive experience with payroll processing.
  • Problem-solving & Time Management: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively.
