Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize patient records within the eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical records (EMR) system, including scanning, updating, and tracking documents.
Process and respond to medical records requests from patients, providers, attorneys, insurance companies, and government agencies.
Assist with care coordination by notifying Patient Navigators of incoming referrals and updating patient status alerts for key screenings (e.g., mammograms, PAP smears, colonoscopies).
Support prescription prior authorizations by forwarding requests to the appropriate providers.
Monitor and manage after-hours messages, ensuring prompt follow-up for patient care needs.
Facilitate communication regarding emergency room visits and hospital admissions to support follow-up care.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, OSHA standards, and Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) principles.
Handle incoming mail and distribute it appropriately to support administrative functions.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in records management.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and office technology.
Communication: Professional and clear verbal/written communication skills.
