Mativ in Pittsfield, MA is looking for a Marketing / Sales Intern to join our team this summer. This internship is a great opportunity to get exposure to different sales processes.  We are looking for a curious and driven intern with a basic understanding of marketing and business development principles. 

The Mativ Summer Internship Program is scheduled to start on May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025. Our paid internship offers a well-rounded experience including meaningful work, a dedicated intern manager, professional development, and more. 

responsibilities  

In this position, the intern will report to the Product Manager and have an opportunity to be a part of the Filtration and Advanced Materials segment. Key responsibilities in this role include: 

• Create presentations to be used for employee education, internal visitors, and external customers focusing on our manufacturing capabilities and current uses of our materials. 
• Compile competitor analysis based on TDS and other online information. 
• Review and identify sales leads received and enter into Sales Force. 
• Support the development of strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights. 
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the quality of insights delivered. 

qualifications 

Required:  

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related major.  
• Minimum GPA-3.0. 
• Intermediate MS Excel skills with willingness to learn. 
• Strong skills with PowerPoint and other MS Suite products. 
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.  
• Ideal candidates will possess high initiative and drive, with a curiosity to perpetually learn and improve our business.  
• Key requirements include the ability to analyze information to find opportunities, effectively communicate, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
