Garvin Agee Carlton (“GAC”), a full-service civil law firm located in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, is looking to hire a full-time Legal Assistant/Paralegal. We're looking for a tech-savvy individual who is seeking a career with a rapidly expanding law practice. GAC has openings for both entry-level and experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents,
• Organize and maintain client files,
• Assist attorneys with case preparation and deadline management,
• Occasional local travel (reimbursement for mileage),
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff, and
• Perform other administrative duties as needed. 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED,
• Proficiency in word processing, email, spreadsheet software, and Adobe Acrobat,
• Strong communication skills, including excellent grammar,
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Salary

• $15-22 an hour, depending on experience.
• GAC is willing to negotiate salary and benefit packages (at or above market) for highly experienced/extraordinary candidates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
