We are seeking an Entry-Level Legal Assistant to support our legal team with administrative tasks, document preparation, and case management. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing and organizing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
Maintain case files and legal records in both paper and electronic formats.
Help with filing court documents and tracking important deadlines.
Conduct basic legal research and gather information from statutes, public records, and case files.
Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
Schedule meetings, track case progress, and help keep the office organized.
Proofread documents for accuracy and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Support attorneys with general office tasks such as copying, scanning, and data entry.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn legal software.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Prior office or administrative experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate!
