Are you looking for a Challenge? Looking for an innovative organization and the opportunity to learn and grow professionally? At Terrestris, we are changing the way small businesses hire. We are seeking a Interstate Transfer Coordinator to join our team of talented professionals who possess the experience, vision, commitment, and integrity to successfully support federal and commercial clients. Join our team, grow your career, and crush your goals at Terrestris.

I've never heard of Terrestris. What do you do?

At Terrestris, we leverage technology to create better mission outcomes through better human performance. We approach this by forming strong client and team relationships through transparency. We strive to create an environment where our team can let their excellence shine through. By finding, developing, and incorporating new ideas, we provide memorable services. Rooted in the USMC values of honor, courage, and commitment, Terrestris seeks to deliver extraordinary values to the American people by helping the Government become more efficient and effective.

So, what will the Interstate Transfer Coordinator at Terrestris do?

The Interstate Transfer Coordinator role is critical in ensuring the seamless and efficient transfer of Soldiers—both enlisted personnel and commissioned officers—between states within the Army National Guard (ARNG). This position is based with the Georgia Army National Guard (GAARNG) and requires close collaboration with Enlisted Personnel Managers, Officer Personnel Managers, unit representatives, NCOICs across battalions and brigades, as well as other states, to facilitate smooth transitions and ensure accurate processing of interstate transfer requests.

What does a typical day look like for a Interstate Transfer Coordinator?

The Interstate Transfer Coordinator's day is dynamic. The role involves processing incoming interstate transfer requests, collaborating with various personnel managers and unit representatives to ensure smooth assignments, and verifying medical eligibility for incoming Soldiers. The role includes managing documentation, ensuring accurate uploads to iPERMS, and coordinating with separation authorities when necessary. Throughout the day, follow-up tasks are performed to confirm Soldiers have reported to their new assignments, and trend reports are prepared for leadership. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to Army regulations, and effective communication to facilitate seamless Soldier transitions.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the person we're looking for if you have:

  • In-depth knowledge of ARNG recruiting and retention operations, officer career management, and Army regulations regarding interstate transfers.
  • Proficiency in the use of personnel management systems and iPERMS.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and within prescribed deadlines.
  • Knowledge of medical and administrative policies governing interstate transfers within the ARNG.

What kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer?
