St. Augustine Florida

40 year old well-established company headquartered on the eastern coast of Florida is now hiring a Controller who possesses experience in the construction industry

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures for all construction projects

Prepare and analyze financial reports for each project, including budget vs actual analysis and cash flow projections

Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS

Coordinate with project managers to review project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place

Monitor project expenses and report any variances to senior management

Work closely with the project team to identify and manage project risks

Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and other financial institutions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

5+ years in construction accounting and financial management

Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards

Experience with project management and cost controls

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
