We are seeking a Communications Specialist to join our team of passionate individuals. In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation’s security and intelligence mission.

The Communications Specialist III develops and implements comprehensive communications strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives. They produce high-quality written content for various communications channels, including press releases, reports, presentations, and internal communications. They build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication. The Communications Specialist II manages and responds to Requests for Information (RFI) from various stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery. They assist in managing communication during crisis situations, providing timely and accurate information to mitigate impact. They ensure all communications are consistent with the organization’s mission, values, and messaging guidelines. The Communications Specialist II monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of communications strategies and initiatives, using data to inform improvements. They take direction from more senior personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives

• Produce high-quality written content for various communications channels, including press releases, reports, presentations, and internal communications.

• Manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) from various stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.

• Assist in managing communication during crisis situations, providing timely and accurate information to mitigate impact

• Ensure all communications are consistent with the organization’s mission, values, and messaging guidelines.

• Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of communications strategies and initiatives, using data to inform improvements

Clearance Required:

• Active TS-SCI with Poly

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools

Minimum Years of Experience:

• At least 9 years demonstrated experience developing and implementing effective communication strategies.

Preferred:

• Ability to work on several products concurrently while managing competing deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal skills.

The base salary range for this position is $161 to $173K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
