Commodity Futures Trader | NYC

Join a dynamic trading floor in the heart of NYC! My client is seeking an strong junior Commodity Futures Trader to become part of their prestigious trading team. This opportunity is designed for an individual who has demonstrated risk-taking experience to take the next step in their career with more responsibility and growth potential, The team has a preference towards individuals coming from commodity futures backgrounds, but they are also open to other macro products.

Responsibilities:
- Execution of trades within accordance with appropriate risk management
- Develop innovative trading tools to aid the trading desk
- Work collaboratively with traders and researchers on trading analysis

Skills & Expertise Required:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2+ years of experience in a risk taking seat, ideally within commodity futures
- Proficiency in Python and VBA for development of trading tools and debugging of existing models.
- Experience executing trades via Bloomberg or other execution platforms
- Strong communication and willingness to work in a high growth atmosphere
