Clinical Informatics Assistant Location Crosby, MN :
POSITION SUMMARY The Clinical Informatics Assistant, under the leadership of the Director of Clinical Informatics, requests/manages access to Excellian and organizes related education for all clinical users. They will also support daily operations of the department including meeting planning and coordination, developing meeting materials including accurate and concise meeting minutes, data analysis and various support tasks as assigned. Independently performs a wide variety of complex and responsible clerical duties following standard work as developed within the department. The Clinical Informatics Assistant maintains sensitive and confidential information. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality work, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad clerical knowledge. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: High school diploma required. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Zoom. One Note, Teams as well as office equipment. Successful completion of data entry standards administered by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Human Resources staff. Training in office equipment (calculator, cash register, computers, printers, and fax) is desirable. License/Certificates: N/A Special Skills and Aptitudes: - Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and appropriately.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Request access to Excellian for all clinical end users and ensure access is appropriately set up.
- Review current access list to remove inactive users.
- Request termination of access for Excellian.
- Work closely with the Medical Staff Coordinator to request access for new providers.
- Coordinate EHR access and Network access and review with end users to ensure access is working.
- Work closely with the CI Analyst to schedule appropriate training for Excellian end users necessary for access.
- Coordinate meetings and record minutes as needed
- Help to manage Clinical Informatics requests, tasks and other departmental duties.
- Maintain and update the CI page on the intranet.
- Ensure Training room calendar is up to date
- Order department supplies
- Ensure training materials are available for students
- Assist new hires with Imprivata set up
- Demonstrate Standards of Excellence when other duties are assigned.
