Job Summary: The Center Associate at The UPS Store Fairfield #4318 is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to clients at our retail location. This is a part-time position with a base salary and commission structure in the Franchise industry. The individual in this role will work alongside a team to ensure the store's daily operations run smoothly and meet all customer needs. This is an individual contributor role that will require strong communication and organizational skills. Compensation & Benefits: The Center Associate position at The UPS Store Fairfield #4318 offers a competitive base salary of $12 to $14 per hour, with the potential for additional commission earnings. Our employees are also eligible for biweekly pay and may be eligible for additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off (based on eligibility). Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their shipping, printing, and packaging needs
• Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
• Process and track shipments using UPS systems
• Operate printers and other equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Meet and exceed sales goals and targets through promoting products and services
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Order and maintain inventory of store supplies
• Complete required training programs and attend meetings as scheduled
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
• Previous retail or customer service experience is highly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer and technology skills
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
