Job Description

The Caf Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding guest service, receiving and processing payments, and serving food and beverage items in a timely manner. In addition, the Caf Attendant is responsible for engaging with guests behind the customer service counter, as well as beyond the service counter. They will also assist the kitchen team members, as needed, to ensure quick and efficient ticket times. This part-time position reports to the Caf Shift Leader and the Regional Food & Beverage Director. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be a minimum of 16 years of age Operate cash register and Point of Sale (POS) System Engage with members and guests to include greeting customers, and providing friendly and professional service Provide excellent guest service Observe guests to anticipate their needs and respond quickly to requests Build rapport with members and guests Upsell food and beverage items Operate a smoothie station Serve food and beverage items in a timely manner Open and close the Front of the House (FOH) and Caf areas Clean and maintain the Front of the House and Caf areas Organize, stock, and control inventory Communicate with managers regarding FOH issues Possess strong guest service skills Able to multitask Able work irregular shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift (8 or more hours) Able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by the Caf Shift Leader, Food & Beverage Director and/or the General Manager
