BUS WASHER AND SERVICE ATTENDANT
STARTING ANNUAL SALARY: $33,609
Performs semi-skilled work fueling, cleaning, washing and disinfecting interior and exterior of transit vehicles. Wipes down, washes, sweeps, mops floor of the interior of all buses. Cleans the exterior of the buses utilizing scrub brushes and a pressure washer, parks buses, and performs bus exchanges on an as needed bases. Refuels vehicles daily and responsible for parking and placing of vehicles. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of FXBGO! Transit facilities.

A successful candidate should have good oral communication skills and strong attention to detail. One (1) year or more of janitorial or auto detailing experience is preferred. Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions. Ability to learn shop processes including fueling vehicles and cleaning vehicles. Other requirements include Valid driver’s license. Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class B or C issued by the state or a CDL permit and the ability to acquire within sixty (60) days of employment a valid Virginia CDL Class B or C. Air brake endorsement strongly preferred.

Background checks, including, driving records and previous employment verification will be performed.  Employment is contingent upon passing post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and drug testing, and is subject to post-hiring random drug testing in accordance with Department of Transportation requirements.
